About me

I’m Saejin Kim, a Ph.D. student in Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University, working with Prof. Youngjae Yu in SNU PI Lab. I previously completed my master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence at Yonsei University.

My research focuses on multimodal reasoning and visual evidence. One question connects much of my work: when a model gives an answer, what did it actually see, and how did that evidence shape its reasoning? I study this question across images, documents, and videos, with the goal of making multimodal models more reliable and their reasoning easier to examine.
